Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Kishore is majoring in Biological Sciences and Psychology as a tremendously busy second-year student at Carnegie Mellon University.
Kishore aspires to be a physician, and he always loves to learn more about physiology and medicine. He is very excited to be a resident assistant (RA) in Mudge House this year. He has also served on the Stever House Council.
As a teacher, Kishore stresses understanding the fundamental concepts over memorizing how to solve a specific question. He believes that students who wish to do well on the SAT should, first and foremost, comprehend the material and then know how to apply it to particular questions.
He comes to Pittsburgh Prep with a wealth of academic pedigree. In addition to his high achievements in both the SAT and ACT exams, he also has scored a perfect 5.0 in 19 AP exams, perfect 800’s in SAT II’s in Math, Chem, and US History, and was a valedictorian in his high school at Mt. Lebanon. Among other things, he is proud to have been recognized as Pennsylvania's Student of the Year as a high school senior. He teaches the following exams:
- ACT
- SAT
- SAT Subject Tests (Bio, Chemistry, Math Level 1 & 2, U.S. History)
- AP Exams (Bio, Chem, Physics, U.S. History, Math AB/BC)
When he’s not studying for exams or going to classes, Kishore enjoys reading, surfing Wikipedia, practicing French, watching action movies, and walking really fast.
