Katie joined Pittsburgh Prep as a once hesitant student who was unsure of her abilities in standardized exam test-taking abilities. By the time she completed her classes with us, she had transformed into a confident test taker who was ready for the actual SAT exam.

Pittsburgh Prep places a lot of importance on the individual student's personal dedication to the SAT exam, and Katie certainly understood this better than anyone. It certainly wasn't easy for Katie. As an active member of her drama club, and as a director for shows at her dance recitals, Katie had to compromise a lot of her time to study for the SAT exam.

Her efforts paid off. A solid 460 pt. increase on her SAT exam meant that she scored a 1900 total, a score that placed her competitively with other top tiered college applicants.
